Charlotte
Ok, I found this as I was moving some books from the shelf on the veranda. Now, I can't find it. I don't know who was more scared, me or the spider. Since our little "meeting", I have been doing nightly sweeps of my floor. Thank goodness the coast is clear. However, I am looking to name this spider in the event I should ever encounter it again. Any ideas?

Hey Heather . Missing you at the MGH.I am enjoying your blog once again..AS for a name for the spider, I think I go with the tiltle of this blog " CHARLOTTE". Charlotte's Web was my son MAtt's favorite story as a younger boy.
KEep up your good work there. I see the next story with the person with the ulcerated foot. It is something to see that a person is out there gettting around with a foot like that? I wonder how it presented in the initial stages--is she diabetic? I will pray too..
TAke care,
Linda :)
Oh my goodness what an awesome spider. Glad you found it and not me! Looks like a big 'ol wolf spider. Charlotte is probably the best choice in a name from a psychological standpoint. I was thinking that you should call it Fang, but on second thought, that name suggests that the creature is something to be feared whereas calling her Charlotte almost makes you want to pick it up and pet it! Am I right or am I right! LYTP
OH MY!!!! I would be having a complete panic attack right now, and we be out of there so fast!!!! I am freaked out just looking at it!! I was just telling my spider story from last ngiht and it wasn't even as big as one of it's foot prints!!! I can't get over that - I wouldn't be sleeping till I found it!!! KB
